SAVINELLI NEW OSCAR RUSTIC 645 BRIAR PIPE
Savinelli · New Oscar Series · Rusticated Briar · Half-Bent Brandy · Black Acrylic Mouthpiece · 9 mm Drilling
The Savinelli New Oscar Rustic 645 Pipe features the traditional Half-Bent Brandy shape, characterised by its rounded bowl, gently narrowing upper section and subtly curved shank and mouthpiece. The Brandy silhouette has a fuller lower bowl that gradually tapers towards the rim, giving the model its distinctive proportions.
The dark reddish-brown rusticated briar finish covers the bowl and shank with pronounced, irregular surface detailing. Its rugged texture contrasts with the smooth, polished black acrylic mouthpiece. A warm-toned decorative ring with silver-coloured accents separates the briar shank from the stem.
The New Oscar Rustic series revisits Savinelli’s established Oscar collection with a deeply textured finish and a selection of traditional shapes. Model 645 represents the Half-Bent Brandy design, combining a compact 40 mm bowl with a total length of approximately 140 mm. Its curved silhouette distinguishes it from the straight models within the same collection.
Savinelli – Italian Pipe Making Since 1876
The Savinelli story began in Milan in 1876, when Achille Savinelli opened a specialist shop dedicated to pipes and smoking accessories. The family name would later become one of the most internationally recognised names in Italian pipe making.
Today, Savinelli is known for combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with an exceptionally broad range of classic shapes, finishes and creative designs. Its collections reflect a long history of Italian pipe-making traditions.
