SAVINELLI NEW OSCAR RUSTIC 207 BRIAR PIPE
Savinelli · New Oscar Series · Rusticated Briar · Straight Apple · Acrylic Mouthpiece · 9 mm Drilling
The Savinelli New Oscar Rustic 207 Pipe features the classic Straight Apple shape, characterised by its rounded, gently curved bowl, straight shank and tapered black acrylic mouthpiece. Unlike the cylindrical profile of a traditional Billiard, the Apple shape has a fuller, softer bowl silhouette.
The dark reddish-brown rusticated briar finish gives the pipe a deeply textured surface with pronounced irregular patterns. The rugged finish extends across the bowl and shank, contrasting with the smooth black acrylic mouthpiece. Decorative bands in warm tones and silver-coloured trim provide a distinct transition between the briar and the stem.
The New Oscar Rustic series revisits Savinelli’s established Oscar collection with an expressive rusticated finish while retaining traditional pipe shapes. Model 207 represents the Straight Apple design, with a rounded bowl approximately 40 mm high, a chamber diameter of 20 mm and an overall length of approximately 140 mm.
Savinelli – Italian Pipe Making Since 1876
The Savinelli story began in Milan in 1876, when Achille Savinelli opened a specialist shop dedicated to pipes and smoking accessories. The family name would later become one of the most internationally recognised names in Italian pipe making.
Today, Savinelli is known for combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with an exceptionally broad range of classic shapes, finishes and creative designs. Its collections reflect a long history of Italian pipe-making traditions.
