Stanwell Vario 95 9mm Briar Pipe

The Stanwell Vario 95 Pipe combines one of Stanwell’s classic shapes with the distinctive and unusual finish that defines the Vario series. The 95 is a Half-Bent Pot, characterized by its broad, low-profile bowl, generous 21 mm chamber and gently curved stem.

What makes the Stanwell Vario series particularly distinctive is its special combination of two different finishes on a single pipe: textured sandblasted briar and contrasting smooth, polished sections.

Rather than finishing the entire pipe in either smooth or sandblasted briar, selected areas remain smooth and polished while the surrounding briar receives the darker sandblasted treatment. The contrast between the two surfaces creates the characteristic Vario appearance and makes the transition between the smooth and textured briar an important part of the design.

The Vario 95 combines dark sandblasted briar with contrasting smooth, polished areas. The broad Pot bowl provides a particularly striking surface for this two-part finish, allowing the natural grain of the smooth sections to stand out clearly against the darker textured briar.

A black acrylic mouthpiece completes the design.

The Stanwell Vario 95 Pipe is designed for use with a 9 mm filter.
