The Stanwell København Sandblasted 88 Pipe is part of the newly reintroduced København series. The København series brings back twelve popular Stanwell shapes, including the 88. It is an interesting choice both for long-time Stanwell enthusiasts and for those looking to add their first classic Stanwell pipe to their collection.
The Story of Stanwell
Founded by Poul Nielsen in Denmark in the 1940s, Stanwell became closely associated with some of the most influential names in Danish pipe design, including Sixten Ivarsson.
The Sandblast 88 features a dark sandblasted briar finish that emphasizes the natural grain and texture of the wood, combined with a slim metal ring and black acrylic mouthpiece. Its classic Straight Billiard shape gives the pipe a clean, traditional profile while the sandblasted surface adds depth and character.
The Stanwell København Sandblasted 88 Pipe is designed for use with a 9 mm filter and continues the classic Danish design tradition for which Stanwell became known.
Each pipe is supplied new and unsmoked.
