The Peterson Sherlock Holmes Watson Brown Pipe is a substantial Fully Bent Rhodesian from Peterson’s celebrated Sherlock Holmes collection, distinguished by its broad bowl, deep bend and classic smooth brown briar finish.
The Watson was originally released as one of the seven shapes in Peterson’s Original Sherlock Holmes Collection. The shape was designed by senior Peterson craftsman Paddy Larrigan from a sketch by Mario Lubinski.
Its distinctive design combines elements of the Rhodesian with the deeply curved character of classic full-bent shapes. The broad bowl, defined upper bead lines and sweeping transition give the Watson its unmistakable and generously proportioned silhouette.
The smooth brown briar finish gives the pipe a warm, traditional appearance while allowing the natural grain of the briar to remain visible.
A broad sterling silver band provides an elegant transition between the briar and the long black vulcanite mouthpiece, completing the classic appearance associated with Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes pipes.
