The Peterson Donegal Rocky 120 is a classic Straight Dublin briar pipe combining the distinctive tapered profile of Peterson’s 120 shape with the rugged rusticated finish of the Donegal Rocky series. Its tall bowl gently flares towards the rim, creating the characteristic Dublin silhouette while retaining the robust proportions associated with Peterson’s traditional Irish pipe design.
The Donegal Rocky holds a special place in Peterson’s history as the company’s first series of rusticated pipes. Introduced in 1945, its deeply textured surface and contrasting stain established a finish that has since become closely associated with Peterson’s rusticated briar pipes.
The series takes its name from County Donegal in the north-west of Ireland, a region shaped by the Atlantic and known for its dramatic coastline, mountains and rugged natural landscape.
