The Peterson Donegal Rocky 107 is a substantial Straight Billiard that combines one of Peterson’s robust traditional shapes with the distinctive rusticated finish of the Donegal Rocky series. The Donegal Rocky is one of Peterson’s most established rusticated series. First introduced in 1945, it has become closely associated with the Irish manufacturer’s characteristic approach to textured briar finishes. The deeply rusticated surface gives each pipe an individual appearance while emphasizing the practical, traditional character of the series.
The name refers to County Donegal in the north-west of Ireland, a region known for its dramatic Atlantic coastline, cliffs, mountains and rugged natural landscape.
