Stanwell Vario 12 9mm Briar Pipe

The Stanwell Vario 12 Pipe combines one of Stanwell’s classic shapes with the distinctive and unusual finish that defines the Vario series. The 12 is a Straight Billiard, characterized by its tall bowl, straight profile and timeless proportions.

What makes the Stanwell Vario series particularly distinctive is its special combination of two different finishes on a single pipe: textured sandblasted briar and contrasting smooth, polished sections.

Rather than finishing the entire pipe in either smooth or sandblasted briar, selected areas remain smooth and polished while the surrounding briar receives the darker sandblasted treatment. The contrast between the two surfaces creates the characteristic Vario appearance and makes the transition between the smooth and textured briar an important part of the design.

The Vario 12 combines dark sandblasted briar with contrasting smooth, polished areas. This distinctive combination gives the pipe its characteristic Vario character while retaining the classic proportions of the Stanwell 12 Straight Billiard shape.

A black acrylic mouthpiece completes the design.

The Stanwell Vario 12 Pipe is designed for use with a 9 mm filter.
