The Stanwell København Terracotta 12 Pipe is part of the newly reintroduced København series. After a long absence, classic Stanwell shapes are once again available as new pipes, giving Stanwell enthusiasts the opportunity to rediscover familiar models that have been part of the brand’s history for decades.
The København series brings back twelve popular Stanwell shapes, including the 12. It is an interesting choice both for long-time Stanwell enthusiasts and for those looking to add their first classic Stanwell pipe to their collection.
The Story of Stanwell
Founded by Poul Nielsen in Denmark in the 1940s, Stanwell became closely associated with some of the most influential names in Danish pipe design, including Sixten Ivarsson.
The Terracotta 12 combines a warm terracotta briar finish with a slim metal ring and black acrylic mouthpiece. Its straight Billiard shape gives the pipe a classic, balanced appearance while the warm reddish-brown finish adds a distinctive character.
The Stanwell København Terracotta 12 Pipe is designed for use with a 9 mm filter and continues the classic Danish design tradition for which Stanwell became known.
Each pipe is supplied new and unsmoked.
