The Rattray’s The Bagpiper Bent Apple Pipe is a modern interpretation of the classic churchwarden / reading pipe, designed for relaxed and comfortable smoking.
Thanks to its long stem, the smoke is guided away from the face, making it ideal for reading or calm evening pipe sessions.
This type of pipe has become increasingly popular in recent years. Until now,
Rattray’s mainly offered the Carnyx series and the semi-long Butcher’s Boy models. The Bagpiper is the newest addition and represents a natural evolution of these classic designs.
The distinctive multicoloured acrylic mouthpiece in this size was difficult to source and therefore produced according to custom specifications. While the production process was not inexpensive, the focus is clearly on quality and smoking comfort rather than price. A second, shorter mouthpiece is included, allowing flexible use in different situations.
The generously sized Apple-shaped bowl offers a spacious tobacco chamber for a long, even smoke. A special highlight is the custom-made brass olive with engraved Rattray’s logo, adding an elegant visual accent to this classic pipe.
