The Rattray’s Monarch Contrast 177 Black Pipe combines a generously proportioned bent shape with Rattray’s warm Golden Contrast briar finish and the characteristic decorative details of the Monarch series.

The shape 177 has a full, rounded bowl paired with a bent shank and curved mouthpiece. Its substantial proportions give the pipe a strong traditional profile while retaining the flowing lines associated with a classic bent design.

The briar is finished in Rattray’s Golden Contrast, highlighting the natural grain of the wood through a combination of warm golden-brown tones and darker contrasting grain.

A broad metal application marks the transition between the briar shank and mouthpiece. This decorative element is one of the recognizable design features of the Monarch series.
