Rattray’s Devil’s Cut G Oak Smooth 9mm Pipe

The Rattray’s Devil’s Cut G Oak Smooth Pipe is a distinctive version of the Devil’s Cut pipe, made from oak wood instead of traditional briar.

The Devil’s Cut design was inspired by a whiskey cask, giving the pipe its characteristic barrel-like appearance. This G Oak edition uses oak whose natural grain gives each pipe an individual appearance.

The smooth surface highlights the characteristic grain and natural color variations of the oak, while the straight Barrel shape emphasizes the solid proportions of the Devil’s Cut design.

A copper application provides a decorative transition to the black acrylic mouthpiece and complements the warm natural appearance of the oak.

A particularly important feature of this model is its heat-resistant graphite inlay. According to Rattray’s, the graphite cone is neutral in taste and smell and can be cleaned easily. Its construction means that building up a traditional carbon layer inside the chamber is not necessary.

The graphite insert also allows Rattray’s to use woods other than briar for this unusual pipe concept, including the oak used for this Devil’s Cut G Oak edition.

The pipe features a standard 9 mm drilling for use with 9 mm filters.
