The Peterson Tyrone XL02 Pipe combines the full, rounded proportions of Peterson’s XL02 shape with the traditional dark brown finish of the Tyrone series.
The XL02 is a substantial bent Apple, characterized by its generously rounded bowl and flowing transition into the curved shank and mouthpiece. The result is a distinctly traditional Peterson profile with more body and visual presence than a standard-sized bent Apple.
The briar is presented in a dark brown smooth finish, giving the pipe a restrained, classic appearance while allowing the natural character of the wood to remain visible.
A narrow brass application provides an elegant transition between the briar shank and the black acrylic mouthpiece. Its warm metallic tone complements the dark finish without overwhelming the traditional design.
The Tyrone series takes its name from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland and presents established Peterson shapes in a traditional dark brown finish.
