Joseph Rodgers Sheffield 223 Handmade Pipe Tool & Tamper – Burgundy

Made in Sheffield, England · Burgundy Wooden Handle · Stainless Steel · 3-in-1 Pipe Tool

The Joseph Rodgers Sheffield 223 Burgundy Pipe Knife is a traditional British pipe accessory handcrafted in Sheffield, England.

Joseph Rodgers is a historic Sheffield cutlery manufacturer with origins dating back to 1682, known for its longstanding tradition of English craftsmanship.

This model combines three essential pipe-care functions in one folding instrument: a tamper, a scraper and a cleaning pick.

The tool features a polished stainless steel scraper blade, brass linings, brass pins and nickel silver bolsters at both ends of the handle.

The distinctive burgundy-coloured wooden handle features rich reddish-brown tones, giving the instrument a classic and elegant appearance.

The pipe tamper is used for gently pressing tobacco inside the pipe bowl, while the stainless steel scraper and slim cleaning pick provide additional pipe-maintenance functions.

Its traditional folding construction brings all three tools together in a compact design, reflecting the classic British gentleman’s pipe knife.

Each tool is supplied with its own leather pouch.
