The Peterson Tyrone 999 combines one of Peterson’s distinctive traditional bent shapes with the understated dark brown finish of the Tyrone series.
The 999 shape is a bent Rhodesian, characterized by its broad, low-profile bowl, defined bowl rings and gracefully curved shank and mouthpiece. Its compact proportions and unmistakable silhouette make the 999 one of the more distinctive shapes in Peterson’s classic range.
The briar is presented in a dark brown smooth finish, giving the pipe a traditional appearance while allowing the natural character and grain of the briar to remain visible.
A narrow brass application provides a subtle decorative transition between the briar shank and the black acrylic mouthpiece. Its warm metallic tone complements the deep brown finish without distracting from the classic Rhodesian profile.
The Tyrone series takes its name from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland and presents classic Peterson shapes in a restrained dark brown finish.
The pipe is drilled for a 9 mm filter, making it suitable for smokers who prefer the widely used 9 mm filtration system.
